THE RECOVERY COMMUNITY GROUPS
Peer Support, Facilitator Led
Our Recovery Community Groups are designed for our clients to meet like-minded people, to check in with the group and to share your challenges and successes with the people who understand best.
THE WELLBEING CHECK IN GROUP
WEDNESDAY'S FROM 8PM - 9PM
The well-being group is about having a check in and a connection with other people who may experience depression, stress, anxiety, isolation or a disconnect, however it's highly unlikely that anyone will have exactly the same reasons or issues which trigger them though.
The group is about knowing you are not alone, helping to stop people from feeling isolated in their depression, making people feel included with like minded people, setting goals, creating positivity and feeding into network of support.
One thing we've learned from the group is that when people come together and share their troubles or positive achievements within our community peer support group, they feel listened to, supported, empowered and feel positively encouraged to make any small changes that will help within their individual recovery.
No one is the finished article and there isn't a magic "reset" button or formula to suddenly feel different. Its always about working on your mindset, exploring and recognising negative thoughts patterns, working on your boundaries and having the support to get through the harder times.
We don't force anyone to do or say anything they don't want to do, but as with most things in life, sometimes things which challenge us now, reap the most rewards later down the line.
